Payments, Refunds & Cancellation
How payment, pricing, tax, delivery and refunds work across our platforms.
1. Scope
Nothing is sold on limeshades.com. This page explains how payment and refunds work on our platforms in general terms. The refund policy published on the platform where you bought is the one that governs your purchase; where the two differ, the platform’s policy applies.
2. Who you are paying
LIME SHADES is the merchant of record for purchases on BUILD BY SS and CC BY SS. LIME SHADES receives the payment and issues the invoice and receipt. Our GSTIN is 09BWUPS5401A1ZE.
3. How payments are processed
Payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment gateway. You enter your card, UPI, net-banking or wallet details on Razorpay’s secure interface. Those details never pass through, and are never stored on, our systems. We receive the outcome of the payment, a payment reference, the amount and the name on the payment instrument.
4. Pricing and taxes
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees on the product page before you pay. Applicable Indian taxes, including GST where it applies, are charged in accordance with law and shown on your invoice. We may change prices or run offers at any time; the price that applies to you is the one displayed at the moment you complete payment.
5. Delivery of what you bought
Everything we sell is digital. There is no physical shipment and no delivery charge. Access is granted to your platform account as soon as payment is confirmed, and you reach it by signing in. If a payment has succeeded but access has not appeared, contact us and we will put it right — that is a fault to be fixed, not a refund question.
6. Refund eligibility
Because our products are digital and become accessible immediately on purchase, purchases are generally not refundable. Free material is published on our platforms specifically so that you can judge the teaching and the depth of the content before you spend anything. Please use it.
In particular, a refund is not available for a change of mind, for not using the material, for buying the wrong item without checking, or for a misunderstanding of what the content covers. Please review your order carefully before you pay.
7. Duplicate payments
If the same order is successfully charged more than once because of a technical fault, duplicate submission or processing error, tell us. Once we have verified the transaction we refund the duplicate amount to the original payment method within three (3) working days of that verification. How long the money then takes to appear is set by your bank or payment provider.
8. Failed, pending or reversed payments
If a payment fails, is declined, stays pending, or is reversed before it completes, the matter sits with Razorpay and your bank or payment provider, and should be raised with them first. We cannot manually complete or recover an unsuccessful transaction. If money has left your account but the order did not complete, it is normally an authorisation that will be released by your bank; send us the payment reference and we will check our side.
9. Cancellation
Access is sold as a one-time purchase rather than a recurring subscription unless the product page says otherwise, so there is normally no ongoing charge to cancel. You may stop using the service or ask us to close your account at any time by writing to care@limeshades.com. Closing an account does not by itself create a right to a refund.
10. Chargebacks
If you think something has gone wrong with a payment, please contact us first — most problems are resolved quickly. If a chargeback is raised without contacting us first, we may suspend or restrict access to the account concerned while the dispute is investigated.
11. Fraud prevention
We may investigate suspicious transactions, payment disputes, chargebacks and suspected fraud. A refund may be delayed or declined where fraud is reasonably suspected, or where declining is required to comply with the law.
12. Raising a payment or refund query
Write to care@limeshades.com with your order or payment reference, the date, the amount, and a short description of the problem. That is usually enough for us to trace it on the first reply.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, our Grievance Redressal process sets out what to do next.
