1. Scope

This policy covers the brands, content and materials of LIME SHADES and of the platforms it operates, BUILD BY SS and CC BY SS.

2. Our brands

LIME SHADES, BUILD BY SS, CC BY SS and related marks, names, logos and visual identities are the property of LIME SHADES. You may not use them as your own, register anything confusingly similar, or use them in a way that suggests we endorse, supply or are connected with you when we are not.

You may refer to us by name in the ordinary way — writing about us, citing a lesson, or saying where you studied.

3. Our content

Unless we say otherwise, everything we publish and supply is owned by LIME SHADES or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and other rights. That includes:

• Video lessons and their audio, and any recording of them
• Written lessons, notes, explanations, questions and answers
• Graphics, diagrams, illustrations, thumbnails and design assets
• PDFs, worksheets, templates and downloadable resources
• Curriculum structure, course outlines and the way material is sequenced
• The software that runs the platforms, and its source code

4. What you may do

When you have been granted access to material, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own learning. You may watch it, read it, take notes from it, work through it and print a copy for your own study.

5. What you may not do

Without our written permission you may not:

• Copy, reproduce, republish or mirror our content anywhere else
• Record, screen-capture, rip or download video that is meant to be streamed
• Share, sell, rent, sub-licence or otherwise pass on your access, or the material itself
• Upload our material to another platform, drive, group, channel or file-sharing service
• Show our material publicly, or use it to teach or train others commercially
• Use our content, in whole or in part, to build or operate a competing service
• Use our content to train a machine-learning or generative AI model
• Remove, alter or obscure a copyright notice, watermark, credit or attribution

These restrictions apply whether or not you paid, and continue to apply after your access ends.

6. Code and files we give you to build with

Some courses supply source code, starter files, templates or assets specifically so that you can build with them. Those may be used in your own projects, including commercially, on whatever terms are stated alongside them. Where nothing is stated, treat them as for your own learning and your own projects, but not for redistribution as a product in themselves.

7. Third-party content and licensing

Our platforms include material we do not own: open-source libraries and components, licensed fonts, stock images and audio, and content used with permission or under a licence. That material stays the property of its owner and remains subject to its own licence, which is not overridden by this policy. Where a licence requires attribution, we provide it.

Where a course teaches a third-party product or technology, that company’s names and trademarks belong to them and are used only to identify what is being taught.

8. Things you submit

Questions, answers, feedback and project work you submit remain yours. By submitting them you give us permission to store, display and use them so far as is needed to run the service — showing your question to the person answering it, keeping your work in your account, and providing support. We do not claim ownership of your work and will not publish it as our own.

9. Reporting an infringement

If you believe something we publish infringes your rights, write to care@limeshades.com with:

• What the material is, and the page or lesson where you found it
• What you own, and why you believe it is yours
• Your name and contact details
• A statement that you believe the use is not authorised

We will investigate and remove or correct anything that should not be there. If you find our material published somewhere it should not be, please tell us the same way.
