1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of limeshades.com, the informational website of LIME SHADES. By using this website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Our learning platforms publish their own Terms & Conditions. If you hold an account on, or buy from, BUILD BY SS or CC BY SS, that platform’s Terms govern your account and your purchase.

2. Who you are contracting with

LIME SHADES is a sole proprietorship based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, and is the legal entity behind BUILD BY SS and CC BY SS.

3. Using this website

You may read, print and share the pages of this website for your own information. This website is provided for information only: it does not host courses, take payments or create learning accounts.

4. Accounts and your responsibilities

Accounts exist on our platforms, not on this website. Where you hold one, you are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly at care@limeshades.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

An account is personal to you. Sharing credentials so that others can reach paid material is not permitted.

5. Educational content and how you may use it

Where you have been granted access to course material, you may use it for your own learning. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, resell, sub-licence, upload elsewhere, screen-record or publicly display that material, and you may not use it to run a competing service, unless we have agreed in writing.

Code, templates and files that we expressly provide for you to build with may be used in your own projects on the terms stated alongside them.

6. Intellectual property

The brands, content and software behind this website and our platforms belong to LIME SHADES or to its licensors. This is set out in full in our Intellectual Property & Copyright policy.

7. Payments and subscriptions

No payment is taken on this website. Purchases are made on the platform, where prices, taxes and access terms are shown before you pay. How payment, invoicing and refunds work is set out in Payments, Refunds & Cancellation.

8. Prohibited activities

When using this website or our platforms, you must not:

• Break any applicable law, or infringe anyone’s rights
• Copy, scrape, mirror or bulk-download content, or attempt to extract it by automated means
• Share, resell or publish paid material, or your access to it
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server or system, or probe or test their security
• Introduce malware, or interfere with the normal operation or availability of the service
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your connection with anyone
• Upload or transmit material that is unlawful, abusive, obscene or harmful, particularly in a space used by school students
• Remove or obscure any copyright, watermark or ownership notice

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or withdraw access where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, where an account is being used to distribute paid material, where payment has been reversed or disputed, or where suspension is needed to protect our users or systems. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

You may stop using the service at any time. Suspension or closure does not by itself create a right to a refund; refunds are dealt with in the Payments, Refunds & Cancellation policy.

10. Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep our services available and our material accurate, but we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the content is free of mistakes. Educational material is provided as described in our Educational Disclaimer. Nothing we publish is professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LIME SHADES is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from your reliance on educational material. Where we are found liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to that claim in the twelve months before it arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under Indian law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, and it takes effect when published. Material changes affecting an existing account will be notified through the platform concerned.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
